What is the Connect+ app?

The Connect+ app is the first of its kind in the employee engagement industry and combines access to benefits, and recognition moments with important comms features.

Providing on-the-go access to employee engagement homepage, recognition and reward features and integrating communication tools, Connect+ helps to better connect employees to each other, their managers and their company's purpose, mission and values. 

More and more organizations have remote, work-from-home or always on-the-go workforces who find it harder to connect with peers and managers. 

This can result in HR teams having to resort to a number of disparate, untrackable recognition and communication programmes. 

Our app is designed to reach all employees, regardless of location or working situation, and connect them under one brand and one centralized platform for their recognition programmes and company communications.

How does it work?

In the app, employees can:

Browse, filter, react and comment on recognition moments and company news

This is presented as a scrolling feed on the app, showing all moments relevant to employees. Here, employees can browse, react and comment on recognition moments and company news. They can also filter to just their team/department (based on the programme's segmentation) to easily view the recognition moments that are most relevant to them.

Send and receive recognition and reward moments

The Connect+ app provides a faster and more convenient way to send eCards, monetary awards and nominations to colleagues across the business. Sending these from a mobile device encourages usage and keeps employees engaged as they can use the channel they prefer most in their daily lives. No more waiting to remember to send a recognition moment once they are back at their desk; with just a few clicks, it can be done instantly from their mobile device.

Push notifications onto mobile devices via the Connect+ app also bring recognition into the real-time world. Push notifications ensure employees are instantly notified when they receive recognition, reward or someone reacts to their moment – providing instant gratification as well as the element of surprise and delight to employees!

Redeem awards

As soon as an employee receives an award, they can instantly redeem their award points or funds for an eGift Card / Instant Voucher of their choice, all within the app! This means employees can enjoy the full end-to-end reward experience from the convenience of the app; making this a perfect solution for field-based, deskless or offline employees in particular.

The Hub section in the app allows employees to access their engagement programme and all benefits available there. Employer branding is connecting your workforce to your mission and values. You can make critical documents such as policies and terms available to your employees through the Hub. 

Even More benefits

Within the More section employees can find additional benefits made available to them by their employer. Based on the products purchased it could be a dedicated discount app and wellbeing tools. 

Access profiles

Employees also have a profile page that boosts visibility and builds greater connections. They can customize their personal preferences right from the app as well as view the profiles of others in the programme.

Direct, real-time communication

App users receive active alerts inside the Connect+ app – making recognition moments and news updates instant and direct. Users are alerted when:

• They receive an eCard or an InstantAward
• An eCard or InstantAward they sent is opened by the recipient
• Someone comments or reacts on an eCard or InstantAward they sent or received
• Someone replies to a comment thread they have participated in, for an eCard or InstantAward
• There’s a new important company announcement on a blog
• There’s a new post from an author they follow 
• There’s a new post in a blog they follow
• There’s a new post with a tag they follow  
• Someone comments or reacts on a post they’ve written

Availability and access

Available free of charge to clients. Features enabled in the app depend on the programme configuration and the products purchased.
