Wellbeing+| How to Invite Friends to Join Your User-Created Challenge

Learn how to invite friends in your organization to join your user-created challenge from the Wellbeing+ mobile app.

Please note: You must be the creator of the challenge to invite friends to join.

Now that you’ve created your challenge, we’ll explain how to invite friends to join! You can invite your friends to join your challenge 2 different ways:

1. Via in-app invites to your friends in Wellbeing+
2. Via an invite link that can be sent through text, email, etc. to users in your organization

Invite Friends through In-app Invites

To send in-app invites to friends for a challenge you’ve created, you’ll first need to be friends with those users on Wellbeing+. To learn how to add friends, please see this article. Once you’ve added friends, you’ll be able to invite them to your challenge using the Wellbeing+ mobile app.

How to Invite Friends to Join your Challenge

1. Select your challenge from the Dashboard

2. Select the ellipsis in the top right hand corner of the challenge.

3. Select the Invite friends to challenge button from the Challenge Menu pop up.

4. Scroll through your list of friends to find who you want to invite or search by nickname. Select Invite to send an invite to that friend. You'll be able to invite as many participants as your challenge admin has enabled for your organization. You'll see a countdown at the bottom of your screen to indicate how many invites remain.

5. When you’re finished inviting users, tap Done to go back to your challenge view. Wait for users to respond and enjoy your competition!

Please note: The instructions above apply to challenges that have already started.

Invite Friends through the Invite Link

1. Select your challenge from the Dashboard

2. Select the 3 ellipsis [...] to pull up the Challenge Menu.

3. Select the View challenge details button.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

5. Select Copy to copy the invite link and Ok.

6. Paste your invite link into a text or email to send to your friends*. Add a fun message to share your excitement for your upcoming challenge!

​*Note: You can only invite users who already have a Wellbeing+ account under your organization. You will not be able to invite users who aren't eligible for your organization's account to join.

FAQs

My challenge hasn't started. Can I still invite friends to the challenge?If your challenge hasn't started, you can still invite your friends!

Please follow the steps below to invite your friends to an upcoming challenge:

1. Open Wellbeing+ and select your challenge.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
3. Copy the Invite link, or select Invite friends at the bottom right of page
4. If you're inviting friends through the app, scroll through your list of friends to find who you want to invite or search by nickname. Select Invite to send an invite to that friend.
