Introduction
This article explains the process of revoking access for a member (employee). It describes which parts of the platform the employee can still access during the 60-day period before their account is permanently deleted.
It also includes information about the communications sent to members during this time.
Revoked or Ineligible Employees
When an employee is revoked or marked as ineligible, our system treats this as them leaving the company, and their access to the platform will be limited right away. An account can be marked as revoked in any of these situations:
- When an employee leaves the organization
- When a client closes their platform and ends their partnership with Reward Gateway | Edenred
- If an employee hasn't logged in for over 22 months
Note: When an employee's account is revoked - usually because they left their employer or their platform was closed after the client ended their partnership with Reward Gateway | Edenred - the member will still have access to the My Account page only, for 60 days.
Access Still Available for 60 Days
When a member is marked as ineligible, their access is immediately limited. This helps prevent any further actions on the account and allows for a smooth account closure process. It’s better to avoid situations where the member makes additional cashback orders that need approval or receives award nominations that might not be approved in time.
That said, some parts of the site will still be available for the next 60 days:
- My Account section to see history on the account
- Security Center
- Help and Support
- Policy Pages (Cookie Policy / T&Cs / Privacy)

- Claim Outstanding Awards
- Spend Outstanding Balance

- Use Instant Vouchers
- Withdraw accrued Cashback

Access to other areas is restricted. Please note that menu items will still be visible to members with revoked access. If they try to enter a restricted area, they will be redirected back to their My Account page automatically.
Revoked Account Communications
Once access has been revoked, the user will receive a series of communications:
- 1st day: The member is marked as a leaver. They get an email informing them that their access to the program will be withdrawn.
- 30th day: The member gets a reminder email informing them that they have 30 more days before their account is closed down.
- 58th day: The member gets a reminder email informing them that they have 2 more days before their account is closed down.
- 60th day: The member's account is permanently deleted. Please note that once this happens we have no way of recovering any Reward balances, Vouchers, Cashback or other unused balances for the member.
