As well as seeing a total value for monetary benefits in the 'Salary Sacrifice' and ‘Your Money’ sections, we have now added the ability for clients to custom mark any other benefits as monetary:
Clients can also decide if they want to include a Total line at the end of the section:
This helps employees have a clearer overview of the section’s total monetary contribution to their total reward statement as well as see a clearer breakdown per section.
Global | Recognition & Reward | Bulk pot updates for InstantAwards™
The challenge
InstantAwards™ offers clients the option to update pots and budgets in bulk through a File Upload. Over the past few weeks, we've been working to resolve a number of issues with file uploads that led to duplicated or deleted pots in the system. We found that they were due to incorrect formatting in client files that the system was not flagging before completing the uploads.
The solution
To prevent these issues in the future, we improved the error validation for the InstantAwards™ bulk pot uploader. The system will now flag a wider range of errors, including:
- Budgets set to 0 value or to a negative value (Instant Awards only allow setting a budget to 0 for pots that are not set to top up automatically on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis)
- Budget column missing when pots are set to top up automatically on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (the system requires a value for the amount they should be topped up to)
- Budget and Allowance cells that are empty
- Budget values that are not numeric
