Global | Employee Communications | Platform Insights dashboard now live
Clients can now gain better insights into the performance of their platform Blogs and Pages, with the new Communications Dashboard - our newest addition to the Platform Insights analytics suite. This will allow HR and engagement leaders to create a smart communication strategy based on real data, and be able to track the ongoing success.
The new Communications dashboards shows metrics such as:
- Blog post activity (views)
- Blog post reactions
- Blog post comments
- Page activity (views)
Read Understanding the Communications Dashboard for more details.
Global | Employee Communications | NEW Contributor role
We are excited to announce that administrators can now extend blog authorship permission to more people in their organization! Getting quality blog content that is relevant to the business can sometimes pose a challenge, and having many different authors maintaining the brand and language can be difficult to manage. This is where the Contributor Role comes in. It allows for a more dispersed group of authors to help create content.
Contributors can author posts, select segmentation, add tags, etc. however when they are finished, they cannot directly publish their content. Their next step is to submit this post for review for an Administrator or Editors to then make any edits they’d like and decide if and when it should be published.
By encouraging more writing this means that employees will be coming back on the platform more regularly, and means:
- A more diverse collection of content, with more voices being heard in the organisation
- Less pressure on the current blog admins and editors to produce consistent content for the organisation
- The review process helps maintain a consistent brand and message even with a larger authorship
For more details on how this new role works in practice, please read How to publish a blog post with the Contributor Role.
Global | Platform Insights | New filter options
Thanks to the valuable feedback we have received from clients using the Platform Insights dashboards since we launched them recently, we have added additional filter options to the data views available on all dashboards.
The changes include:
- Two different options (Group Type / Group Name) which can be selected independently
- The ability to select more than 5 options to filter data on
- The ability to filter data without having to select a specific Group Name
Global | Employee Recognition & Reward | Weekly digest
We have released a new feature that allows clients and their employees to set up a weekly email digest for Reward & Recognition via the Social Wall on their platform. A client can auto-enroll their employees in the digest, or employees can individually sign up.
The new digest allows employees, managers, and leadership teams to stay aware of the recognition activity that is happening around them, and will therefore encourage their interaction (e.g. via reactions and comments) with recognition moments that they may have missed during the week.
Employees can choose to "subscribe" to all Social Wall activity in the company or a specific subset of activity. They do this by selecting a filter on the social wall and then you will have the option to subscribe.
The digest shows all activity up to 20 events that occurred over the last week. Each event in the digest includes who was recognized, who sent the recognition, the recognition image, what award the employee received, and a snippet of the recognition message.
