The SmartSpending™ team here at Reward Gateway has been working on ways to keep as much of your discounts programme going as possible throughout this second national lockdown in England, ensuring your employees' finances are supported and they don't miss out on great savings in the run-up to the festive holidays.
We continue to speak to our retail partners to get the latest updates on their position in lockdown, and we have updated all impacted retailer's merchant pages.
We have maintained all Instant Voucher and Reloadable Card offers on SmartSpending™, with the exception of cinemas
We want to support our retailers as much as we can through this tricky period. Therefore, in order to continue driving sales to their offers, we have advised members that whilst their stores are closed, they can still purchase Instant Vouchers or Reloadable Cards as gifts or for future use when stores reopen.
Given the time of year, and with Black Friday and Daily Deals approaching, this allows members to make a saving on gifts which they wouldn't be able to if we'd temporarily removed the offers.

We have also maintained our offers in the hospitality industry, advising members to check whether their local restaurants are open for takeaway orders before travelling to avoid disappointment. All of our offers in this category offer some level of takeaway availability across their restaurants.
Following the complete closure of cinemas in this lockdown, and the slow down in releases of new films, we have temporarily removed all cinema offers, prompting members to click "Notify Me" so we can let them know as soon as these become available again.
Temporary offer removal for HelloFresh
On Cashback, we have been asked to remove the HelloFresh offer due to the volumes they’re currently experiencing. They have seen a surge in orders with customers trying to get their food delivered in lockdown so to avoid stock issues, they have temporarily removed their offer.
