With the Connect+ Outlook Add-in, you can send recognition directly within Outlook for the desktop or web!
Installation
Simply log into your Office 365 account and access the team where the Connect+ Outlook Add-in has already been installed by your administrator.
If your administrator has not done this for you, you can install it safely from the Microsoft Office Store:
Outlook for the desktop
Including Microsoft 365, Outlook 2019 Outlook 2016 Outlook 2013.
- In Outlook, click Get Add-ins from the Home tab on the ribbon.
- Search for “Connect+” and follow the instructions to add it.
Outlook for the web
Including Office for business Office 365 Small Business Outlook on the web Outlook on the web for Exchange Server 2016 Outlook Web App.
- In Outlook on the web, select a message or compose a new one.
- Select More actions and go to the bottom of the list and select Get Add-ins.
- Search for “Connect+” and follow the instructions to add it.
Usage
After you install the Connect+ Outlook Add-in, you’ll first need to open a message.
Opening the add-in
Outlook for the desktop
With a message in the Inbox selected, select Connect+ on the ribbon. A side panel will appear allowing you to “Sign In” to your account and send recognition.
Use the pin icon in the top right to keep the side panel open as you navigate.
Outlook for the web
With a message in the Inbox selected, select More actions and select Connect+. A side panel will appear allowing you to “Sign In” to your account and send recognition.

Signing in
Select the "Sign In" button from the panel and login to your Reward Gateway programme using your credentials. You will be asked to type in the email address that you used to sign up for your account and the related password or in some cases you may be sent a one-time passcode to your email address to verify your account.
You will be also asked to grant access to the Connect+ Outlook Add-in to your Reward Gateway account. This will give the Connect+ Outlook Add-in access to your account details on Reward Gateway, allowing you to action things straight from within Outlook.
Not signed up? If you have not already signed up to use your Reward Gateway programme, you will have to do this first by visiting your Reward Gateway programme on a web browser and using the "Register to get access" option.
Sending recognition
To send recognition:
- Open a message in Outlook.
- In the Connect+ Outlook Add-in panel, select who you want to send recognition too. You can only send to other registered users of the programme.
- Enter your recognition message and select your eCard design.
- Choose to Send & Share (your message will be visible to everyone on the programme) or Send Privately (your message will be visible to you, the recipients, and the programme administrator.)
