The SmartHub® Scheduler is a real wonder. It allows clients to make changes to the layouts in SmartHub® and schedule them to go live automatically on dates in the future, just like magic!
This means clients can plan and preview changes they want to make to their hub in advance. It's an incredibly powerful way that Reward Gateway can work together with our clients to make sure their SmartHub® is always up to date and fresh with new topical content about what is going on in their organization.
Key uses for clients
Our clients use the Scheduler in lots of ways:
- If their company has 6 core values, a different one can be scheduled to show as Value of the Month, all organized in advance and changing on schedule
- Scheduling seasonal changes to their hub, so employees see a different focus as the year progresses
- Launching new corporate initiatives with perfect timing. Clients can now astound their CEO when a new employee wellbeing initiative goes live on SmartHub® whilst they're on holiday, without even lifting a finger!
- Keeping it simple, clients could feature a different employee benefit each week or month so their people always see something new and changing
Like all Reward Gateway features, clients have full control and it can be switched on from within Reward Manager.
How it works
Scheduler - Monthly View
The Monthly View lets clients see a whole month in detail, making it easy to drag a SmartHub® layout on to the precise day that they want it to go live.
In this example below, the client's SmartHub® is showing a Learning & Development focus from Monday 3rd April, and on Friday 21st April it will switch to a new layout titled "International Women's Day".

The Quarter View lets clients see and plan even further ahead.
Scheduling a SmartHub® layout for a date in the future
To add something to a schedule, just use the left and right arrows at the top left of the Scheduler window to show the date required. Then drag a SmartHub® layout to the date it should go live on the calendar. No problem if it's dropped on the wrong date, just pick it up again and drag it to wherever it needs to be.
Removing a layout from the schedule
Remove a layout from the schedule without deleting it. This will simply mark the layout unused. Make changes to it and schedule it later.
To remove a layout from the schedule, just click and drag from the calendar and drop it on the trash can icon that appears in the middle of the page on the right.
The SmartHub® Scheduler tool can be found in the Admin panel within Reward Manager.
