This week's releases:
Global | Integrations | Slack and Yammer join the gang
This week we have released two new integrations that allow clients to connect their Slack Workspaces or their Yammer Networks to their Reward Gateway program.
Once the client has set up the integration, any recognition moments shared on the wall or articles posted within a blog will automatically be shared on a chosen Slack channel or a Yammer group of the client's choice.
Global | Core Platform | Improved data protection on membership file uploads
As we pivot to clients managing their own eligibility files, managing the integrity of their employee data becomes that much more crucial for us. Therefore, we've made some improvements to the membership upload tool to accommodate this.
The process would be as follows:
- If the client is updating more than 10% of their entire user population, the upload will be blocked. The client would need to contact our Client Support team who would need to verify these changes and file a Service Desk ticket to get these uploads processed. Same as the current process.
- If the client is updating between 1%-10% of their entire user population, the upload will be paused. The client would then have to download a list of the changes picked up by our membership upload tool and then confirm they are happy with these changes before the upload is allowed to proceed.

We now display a prominent message and blur out the whole page in the background to stress the importance of users not refreshing or going back while their order is processing at Checkout.
Global | Employee Discounts| Segmentation
We have introduced a way to segment the users that can see SmartSpending™ on a single program, thus hiding the Discounts section in the mega menu for all users who are outside of the specified segment.
Global | Accessibility | SmartHub® Pages accessibility improvement
We used this opportunity to make the Pages layout and text styles in line with the improved blog posts with wider width for the main content and larger text size.
Note, by enlarging the main content block we have moved the left-hand nav custom menu to the right.

Global | Accessibility| Updated toggle style
We're continuing to improve various elements of the platform to be more accessible for all users. This week the toggle has got a makeover for better compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
UK, Australia & NZ | Employee Discounts | Uber & Uber Eats Instant eGift Cards added
Members in Australia and New Zealand can now save 4% on all of their trips and Uber Eats orders using Instant Vouchers/eGift Cards.
This allows them to purchase a voucher and load this onto their Uber Account. Then, every time they travel or order, (even on the app) their saved voucher can be used to pay for the trip or takeaway rather than using their credit/debit card.
UK | Employee Discounts| TK Maxx & Homesense now on EasySaver™ card
Members can now enjoy a 7.5% saving at TK Maxx and Homesense with their EasySaver™ reloadable card!
UK & Ireland | SmartPay™ | Single payroll timesaver
If a client has one payroll in SmartPay™, they won’t need to upload a “payroll name” for each and every employee now. All employees will be automatically assigned to the single payroll of the client.
