This week's release:
Global | Recognition and Reward | Reward Marketplace - Phase 1 launch
Our redesigned reward redemption experience, the Reward Marketplace, has officially launched to all R&R clients. The first phase includes the following enhancements:
- New Search for Reward Marketplace - employees can instantly find their retailer of choice with the all-new and improved Reward Marketplace search function.
- No more alphabetical lists - employees will see vouchers in order of how popular they are on their scheme rather than in alphabetical order, as it is currently. This provides a more relevant experience to the employee as they see what’s popular amongst their peers.
- New Category pages - employees can explore rewards through four simple categories.
This update will be rolled out automatically to all R&R clients. Employees will see the new interface when they next go to redeem their R&R points through the usual touch points.
Phase 2 of the Reward Marketplace is due to launch next quarter, and includes the ability for employees to seamlessly connect with Amazon to redeem their award funds on any of Amazon's millions of products! Watch this space.
UK | Flexible Benefits | 'Partner only' cover type for insurance benefits
Some insurance providers offer the option to select a separate cover for the employee and their partner. To support this, we have added another cover type option in the application process – "Partner only". On the platform, the application process will display 2 separate, standalone benefits, one for Self and one for Partner.
Here's how it will look for employees:
If needed, we can link the two together, meaning that a member would first have to apply for Self before they can apply for the Partner variant.
Upon clicking Apply on the Partner benefit page, employees will be able to select a partner from their list of dependants or add a new one if needed. Selecting the dependant will generate the available cover options below. This also works with pricing based on age so the system will calculate the cost based on the partner's age for benefits such as Critical Illness or Life Assurance.
UK | Flexible Benefits | Funding for Flex Insurance
When we're talking about flexible benefits with our clients, funding is one of the features that is an essential part of every project. Our flex solution now supports funding for all insurance benefits:
- It can either be a flat amount for every cover type or a dynamic value per employee/grade that we can receive via a membership upload file
This works great with the insurance configurations we developed meaning that, if needed, the funding can be enabled for a specific group of people within the company (for example, senior managers could have a Private Medical Insurance cover funded by the company, but everyone else does not). We also have the ability to report the cost to the member and to the client separately in the payroll report – which makes it a breeze to run the deductions!
