This week's releases
Global | Employee Communications | User roles more manageable and visible
Current user roles we have are:
Bloggers- they can write posts for the blogs they are assigned to. They don't need to have their content approved.
Editors- they have the same rights as bloggers, in addition, they can edit posts and assign Blogger roles for their specific blogs.
Admins- also known as "super-users" who can edit content, change settings and assign roles for any blog.
We've also done some additional improvements to the blog page by making some crucial options more accessible, by moving them right under the blog's title.
Quick links help access View Live, Blog settings, and Admins and Editors. That will make these highly demanded options only a single click away!
- Admins and Editors can assign blogging rights quickly
- Blog settings allows them to change the blog, status, title and URL and whether the blog:
The default setting for Announcements is OFF where Admins and Editors can choose which individual posts people should be alerted for. The loudspeaker icon is visible for individuals who can make announcements.
