The Variation of Contract is the agreement between an Employer and the Employee that they wish to sacrifice part of their cash salary for a non-cash benefit.
The employee will have to agree to this prior to taking part in the salary sacrifice programme. The contract sets out the terms and conditions for the programme and we have a standard version that is suitable for most clients. Clients may wish to edit or amend the wording; that's no problem.
The Variation of Contract sets of the rules of the agreement including leaving the scheme and also what happens during Maternity or sickness.
You can review the standard Variation of Contract at any time in the product setup of each product in SmartPay. To do so you need to navigate to SmartPay > Products > Manage > Next - advanced settings.
