How would the system know which applications to approve when the product is set to pre-approval?
This will be based on the employee salary data, provided by the employer, the system will check if the employee risks going below the National Minimum Wage (NMW). It will automatically approve the applications of the employees, who are not going to fall below NMW, and will reduce the allowance of the employees, who are going to fall below NMW, or will restrict them from applying. The system will also check the date of birth of the employees, so it can approve the applications of all employees older than 18 and leave pending all applications of employees younger than 18.

Why is the application of an underaged employee left pending instead of being directly rejected?
This is so that the employer has the opportunity to double-check if the date of birth is mistaken by accident.
Can we not send you the salary and DoB and still use the pre-approval process?
No, because then the system will have no data to base its calculations on.

What if we have other SalSac product(s) with you? Will the system know/take into consideration employees’ applications for all RG SalSac products when doing the NMW calculations?
Yes, it will.
What if we have other SalSac product(s) with other providers?
You can provide us with the amount you allocate to the external providers for each of your employees, and the system will automatically take this number into consideration when doing the NMW calculations (the column name is "Total Annual Sacrifice Amount").
