About eNPS Surveys
Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is a key metric used to measure employee advocacy, loyalty, and workplace satisfaction by asking how likely employees are to recommend the organization as a place to work. It is based on the Net Promoter Score model used to measure customer loyalty, but instead focuses on how employees feel about your organisation.
They are a quick and effective way to understand how employees feel about working for your organisation. They can help you:
- measure employee sentiment
- track changes in engagement over time
- identify strengths and areas for improvement
- gather honest feedback quickly and at scale
You can use eNPS as a one-off pulse check or as a recurring survey to monitor progress over time.
eNPS Survey Questions
An eNPS survey asks employees one simple question: On a scale of 0–10, how likely are you to recommend [company name] to a friend?
Responses are grouped as follows:
- 0–6 = Detractors
- 7–8 = Passives
- 9–10 = Promoters
Employees can also leave additional feedback through an optional free-text question: Please tell us more about why you chose this score.
This gives you both a measurable score and helpful context behind it.
