Introduction
Reward Manager supports multiple languages. This article will take you through how to add new languages if you need to do so.
Programme Configuration
In order to enable languages on a programme, you must:
1. Visit the programme (scheme) page
2. Click General Settings > Manage Languages
Here, you can enable new languages for the programme.
You will see the latest list of languages supported on the Reward Gateway platform:
3. The language drop-down list will appear for your members.
Once selected, it is remembered across sessions and devices.
Important notes:
- As of June 2024, only French, Dutch, and Italian languages have had human translators validate the quality of the automated translations.
- User or client-generated content (e.g. SmartHub tiles, SmartHub Pages, Menu items, Blogs) should be manually added in each language. This is by design, as automated translations are not 100% accurate.
- Segmentation is a powerful tool in localizing the content on your platform, including SmartHub layouts/tiles, SmartHub Pages, and Blogs.

Important Notes
- In the table above, recommended languages have not only been machine translated, but also verified and improved by human translators.
- Separately to Preferred Language, you can use the Country Code field (2-letter codes) to set the location of an employee. You can find the full list of 2-letter codes at the Online Browsing Platform.
- As of July 2024, the License Country field (3-letter codes) is still supported in membership uploads. However, we recommend using Country Code (2-letter codes) in alignment with the latest ISO Standards.
