Cashback - FAQs - Can Reward Gateway Generate a Tax Receipt for Employees Who Donate Their Cashback to Charity? (for AUKUS only)

In some countries, such as Australia and the US, the governmental tax system enables individuals who donate money to charity to receive a form of tax break.

Whilst Reward Gateway facilitates the act of an individual donating their money to a charity, we are not the recipients of the donation and therefore cannot produce any documentation to prove the donation for tax purposes. 

However, when we pay the charity with an individual's donated Cashback, the charity is then able to issue a certificate directly to the individual employee, for use with their tax deductions.
