Introduction
The Programme Logo is part of the branding of the Reward Gateway Edenred Platform. In this Guide, we will introduce a few basic rules to make your Programme Logo stand out in a practical and aesthetically pleasing way.
Below is a presentation of a Programme Logo - it sits in a rectangular area on the top left of the screen.
Technical limitations
The Programme logo is placed in a rectangular container as shown below - which is NOT adjustable, so please ensure the logo you create looks good when positioned in this box.
*The actual dimensions of the logo container box are 210x60 px but to accommodate high-density displays (like Retina) the system will require you to prepare and upload the logo at 1050x300px size.
Things that will make your Programme logo stand out
Avoid Square and Circular logos
As we mentioned before the best-looking Programme logos will be wide rectangular ones. Avoid designing square and circular logos - as they will look really small and unreadable on the platform.
Poor examples
Notice how the logo looks on the platform - it almost disappears and the text becomes unreadable.
Good Examples
The below example not only showcases a good width-to-height ratio but also features a tagline - a short text underneath the logo which informs the employees what is the Programme about.
Good colour contrast
Your logo will always be placed on a white background so make sure its colour has enough contrast over the background.
Simple logos
A logo doesn't exist in a vacuum, and it, alone, should never have to explain anything. It only needs to be recognizable and memorable. Once you fill it with meaning, and reinforce that meaning over time through consistent brand messaging, then it will mean whatever you say it means.
- Avoid logos that are too complex and are trying to show every single aspect of the platform - like Reward & Recognition, Wellbeing, Discounts, Flexible Benefits. These can be overwhelming to the viewer and will be hard to decipher.
- Avoid including photographs in logos - when scaled down the details will be lost
- Avoid logos with too thin (light) fonts
Poor examples
Too busy
Too thin (light)
With photos
