Integration
Multi-factor authentication (MFA), or 2FA, is highly recommended as an extra security measure to ensure your account stays safe. It’s quick and easy to set up and, if needed, can be removed at any time.
How to set up Multi-factor authentication
- Log in to your boom! account
- From the homepage, select Account and then My Account
- Select Security Centre on the left-hand side
- In the Login section, select Setup next to Multi-factor authentication
- Follow the instructions on downloading and configuring the authenticator app, Authy, on your mobile device
- Scan the QR code that appears on the screen
- Enter the 6-digit code provided by the app in the Code box
- Select Save
Note: You can also use other Authenticator apps, such as Google or Microsoft's.
When successful, you’ll see the following message:
Select Back to Security Centre to return to your account security page.
Remove Multi-factor authentication
From the Security Centre page:
- Select Remove next to Multi-factor authentication
- On the following page, select Disable
When successful, you’ll see the following message:
