Learn how to sync steps from the Health Connect app into Wellbeing+
Now that you’ve connected Health Connect, learn how to sync your steps and distance to Wellbeing+.
The Syncing Process
To sync with Wellbeing+, you just need to open your Wellbeing+ app and wait to see a ‘Last synced:' message to confirm that you’ve synced.
We recommend syncing by opening the Wellbeing+ app at least once a day during your challenge.
All Wellbeing+ challenges have a 72-hour grace period after the challenge ends to give you extra time to sync your final steps, so make sure you sync before the grace period is up!
Where Does Wellbeing+ Get My Data?
Wellbeing+ retrieves your activity information from the Health Connect application. When you establish a connection and give permission to an application, it is authorized to view and update data in Health Connect. Once permission is granted, the connected app can retrieve data from the past 30 days and any new data added thereafter.
Depending on the permissions you select, apps will transfer data to Health Connect, where it will be stored on your device and shared with Wellbeing+. You can learn more about permissions and how they work here.
What if Steps Aren’t Syncing From Health Connect?
