Introduction
This article explains the latest improvement made to Cycle to Work scheme, the update is available to clients now. Keep reading to learn how to enable this feature on the platform.
Summary
We're introducing an important improvement to the Cycle to Work (C2W) scheme on our platform. Employees will now be able to request multiple Letters of Collection (LoCs) within the same period, as long as they stay within their allowance. This change addresses a common pain point and creates new opportunities for engagement and sales.
What's Changing?
Previously, employees could only request one LoC per scheme period, even if they had unused allowance remaining. For example, if an employee had a £2,000 limit and spent £1,000 on a bike, the remaining £1,000 was locked until the next cycle.
With this update, employees can now request additional LoCs for accessories, safety gear, or even a second bike, provided they remain within their total allowance.
Setup
After the change is applied, the setup will be consistent with the setup of SmartTech.
- In the SmartPay administration, Cycle to Work product configuration
- The section Edit spend limit will have the toggle Limit the number of orders with default state OFF
This would mean that employees would be able to submit as many orders as their allowance or send limit allows.
If a client would still like to permit their employees to submit a specific number of orders, then they could contact their Client Success Manager, or RGER Client Support and they could assist them change the setting.
