Introduction
In this article you will learn on how to use the filters available on dashboard. The filter types are explained along with group type values. This article is designed for clients when working with Platform Insights.
Filtering
Each dashboard on Platform Insights has a filtering function. This is the same across all dashboards. The filters allow the user to set the scope of data that will be shown. All data and charts will be based on these parameters.
Group Type: This is the employee profile fields such as divisions, departments, and office locations. This would have been set either in the scheme's Registration Questions or added through the Membership Uploads.
Group Name: The names of the employee profile fields to filter for.
Filter by time period: The dashboard will show data retrieved between the start date and end date. When selecting multiple Group Type or Group Names, the filter logic includes results that match any of the filter criteria, i.e. OR logic.

The following four enterprise fields, with the (ent) postfix, come from the platform. These are:

Everything else is supplied by the clients either in membership upload or Registration questions.
