What is our liability if there’s a problem with an employee’s will?
Liability for the preparation of the will, and any issues arising from it, sits with Hugh James.
Hugh James is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority, and carries professional indemnity cover as a regulated law firm.
How is employee data handled?
The specific data arrangements will be agreed as part of the contract with employees, including how data is shared between Hugh James and Reward Gateway | Edenred and whether employers receive any information about individual employee usage.
Can we offer this to all employees, or only certain groups?

What happens if we decide to stop offering the benefit?
As employees contract directly with Hugh James, anyone with an ongoing matter will be able to complete it with them. Hugh James will also continue to store completed wills for clients who choose to use its will storage service. The formal exit process and any applicable notice periods will be agreed as part of the contract.
