Click the New Title text to add your own title:
Main Page Content
You can add as much content to the center of the page as you'd like. This can be text, which you can format using the formatting bar, or you can drag items from the left-hand menu into the text area.
Adding Text
When you click in the central text area, a formatting bar will appear at the top, allowing you to change the formatting of your text. This allows you to add headers, bullet points, hyperlinks as well as being able to change the text alignment.
Adding Blocks to Your Page Content From the Left-hand Menu
Drag and drop any of the different blocks into the main content area:
The different block types are described next...
Quotes
These can be linked to pages on the site, external URLs, downloadable files or email addresses.
How to use this block:
Quotes can help you highlight important parts of the content you’re sharing. You can write as much text as you like but the size, font and style are fixed. The inverted commas will show in one of your brand colors (the same as your top menu bar).
If your quote is part of a larger piece of content you don't plan to include in the page, you can link the block to a web address or downloadable file, so users can click through to the full text.
Images
These can be linked to pages on the site, external URLs, downloadable files or email addresses.
How to use this block:
Upload an image. You will then be able to zoom in or out, or move it within the space. The image can be anything you want - a photo, an illustration, or even branded artwork!
If you want text to appear on the image, you will need to add it offline, before you upload the file to your page. Upload image files at the highest resolution available - maximum file size is 5MB and supported formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF.
To edit the height of the image, hover over the bottom of your image with your mouse, and click on the green bar. Drag it up and down to make your image taller or shorter, then click and drag the image itself to center it in the space.
Videos
How to use this block:
Pick a video from your computer, or copy and paste a link from a hosting site. Supported sites include YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and Dailymotion.
When you upload a video from your computer, you can choose which frame to use as a preview.
Maps
How to use this block:
Maps can help you give visual directions to your employees - for example, to an office or a social event you’re promoting on your page. Enter the postcode of the location you want to display, and it will automatically show in a map.
Users have the ability to zoom in and out of the map on the page.
Background and Text
These can be linked to pages on the site, external URLs, downloadable files or email addresses.
How to use this block:
Upload a background to your block (i.e. a block color, photo, illustration or branded artwork). You can zoom in or out of images, or move them within the space.
A text box will appear on the block, so you can add text on top of your background. You can move and resize the text box, and change text size, style and color. The font is fixed.
Buttons
These can be linked to pages on the site, external URLs, downloadable files or email addresses.
How to use this block:
Type in your call to action and add your link - it’s that simple! The height, color and style of the button are fixed.
Tip: If you want a call to action box that is taller, or a different color, use a Background and Text block instead
User Tiles
These are linked to user profile pages and Recognition options by default.
How to use this block:
The user tile will include the registered user's full name, and profile picture/avatar (if the user has uploaded one). Only registered users will be searchable and available to add to user blocks.
The tile will show a Send recognition button, in platforms that have eCards enabled, (with or without Social Recognition), to invite other users to send an eCard.
All names within the platform are clickable and will lead the reader to the users' profile page.
Adding Extra Elements
To the the right of the main content on the page, you can click and add additional elements:
Note: You can only add one of each element type per page. All colors and structure of the blocks are fixed, but you can customize the titles of each.
The different elements types are described next...
Useful Links
Create a list of handy links for employees. These could be external URLs, pages within the site or email addresses. You can rename each link to explain it.
Drag and drop the links to change their order
Downloads
Add files from your computer, so employees can download them directly from the page. Once uploaded, you can rename each file description.
Drag and drop the files to change their order. The maximum file size is 100MB.
Polls
Customize the Poll title, add question, and create a list of options your employees can choose from (one answer per user, pre-set answers only). The header will be the same color as your site’s top menu bar. Fonts are fixed.
Publish the poll straight away, or schedule it for a later date. Poll results (total responses and % of answers for each option) are stored in Reward Manager.
Page Owner
Add the contact details of an individual or team. You can enter as much information as you have available. Email links are clickable, and open a pop-up window where the user can write their message.
You can add one Page Owner box per page. Use the other features in the content editor to share more contact information!
Once you add a contact to one page, the details will be stored, so you can add them to more pages with just a few clicks.
