SmartHub Builder - Tiles in SmartHub Layouts: Types, Sizes and Uses

Font type, color and size are fixed, as is the white background.

You can change the style of the text (e.g. bold, italics, underlined) and add hyperlinks to it.

If you want text to appear on the image, you will need to add it offline, before you upload the file to your hub.

Make sure you use an image with size and orientation that are suitable for the Tile size you want (e.g. avoid uploading a horizontal image to a 1x2 Tile).

Upload image files at the highest resolution available - maximum file size is 5MB.

Pick your video from your computer, or copy and paste a link from a hosting site (YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, and Wistia).

Livestreaming can be achieved by using a hosting site and pasting the link in the video Tile.

When you upload a video, you can choose which frame to use as a preview and include call to action text with a link at the end.

You can add as many of these Tiles as you like; each will show a different retailer, chosen from the selection of each week’s hottest offers.

You can display any X feed, provided it’s public.

Simply input the X ID of the account you want to use (e.g. @Rewardgateway).

Display the feed from any public page (personal accounts, or pages with age or location-related restrictions, won’t be supported). 

Edit the Tile, and under the Username simply input the bit of the URL that appears after the slash (/)

To show different Facebook feeds on your homepage, simply add more Tiles.

You must be logged out of Facebook on the browser for the Tile to load.

Check that the page is public.

Check that the page is active (see Deactivate or reactivate your Facebook Page).

Ensure there are no age and country restrictions (see Add or edit country and age restrictions for your Page).

Ensure that Facebook is not blocked at your workplace.

To show different Instagram feeds on your homepage, simply add more Tiles.

If the Tile is not working, you should recreate the Instagram integration via the Integrations Dashboard.

If you want to display the latest posts from a website of blog that has a RSS feed, you can add the feed to your homepage. See What is RSS?

Simply input the link to the RSS feed of the site you want to promote. This is different from the site URL. See Find Your RSS URL.

Websites or blogs that don’t have a RSS feed cannot be promoted through this Tile. You can still link to them through a different type of Tile though!

Simply drag it to your homepage, and choose the blog you want to promote from the list of blogs on your site.

Updates are automated, so new posts will appear in real time; employees will be taken straight to them when they click through.

To show more than one blog on the same homepage, simply add more Blog Tiles.

This Tile is only available if you have at least one live SmartHub Blog on your programme

The Quick Links Tile is ideal to display different links with a common topic (e.g. benefits, HR policies), all in one place.

You can add as many items as you like to your list; each can have its own icon in one of your brand colors.

You will need to link each item individually, to point them to different URLs, files or email addresses.

Each employee will see their total savings on their homepage, updated in real time.

When you add the Tile, you can choose to display total savings across all types of offer, or just the amount saved in store or online.

The Tile will show up to 20 birthdays of registered users who have a birthday in the next 7 days. If there are not any birthdays in the next 7 days, it will show those coming up in the next 30 days.

The order is based on the dates of birth you have uploaded to our system, followed by the moment the user account was created. Year of birth and age will not be displayed.

Birthdays are hidden by default when employees first register. To be visible on the Tile, they can opt into sharing them from their Profile on the site.

The user Tile will include the registered user's full name, and profile picture/avatar (if the user has uploaded one).

Only registered users will be searchable and available to add to user Tiles.

The Tile will show a Send recognition button in platforms that have eCards enabled, (with or without Social Recognition), to invite other users to send an eCard.

All names within the platform are clickable and will lead the reader to the users' profile page.

Customize the Poll title, add question, and create a list of options your employees can choose from (one answer per user, pre-set answers only).

The header will be the same color as your site’s top menu bar but fonts are fixed.

Publish the Poll straight away, or schedule it for a later date.

Poll results (total responses and percentage of answers for each option) are stored in Reward Manager.

The Tile will show today's anniversaries with a Recognize button and a See More button for the upcoming ones in the next 30 days.

The order is based on the start dates you have uploaded to our system, followed by the moment the user account was created.

The Tile will show the 3 most recent recognition moments sent on your programme.

By clicking through, users can go straight to their chosen recognition moment on the Social Wall, to react and comment. This is only available if the recognition moment has been shared by the sender.

They will also find a link to the full feed on the Social Wall.

You can customize the title of your Tile but its layout and white background are fixed.

This Tile is only available if Social Recognition is active on your programme.

Profile pictures will only show for those employees who have added a photo in their My Account section.

You can choose to display: top eCard senders, top eCard recipients, top Recognition senders, top Recognition recipients, top Blog Authors, top Reactions, top Commenters, top Activity (combining all elements in the list).

You can organize the leaderboard as a top 5, top 10 or top 25 (the See More link will open a pop-up to see the full rankings).

You can also choose a timeframe: last week, last 30 days, last 90 days, this quarter, last year.

If you’d like to display different types of stats on your homepage, simply add separate leaderboard Tiles.

The user looking at the Tile is always shown in their up-to-date position on the leaderboard, to help them track their ranking.

The Tile shows the total count of eCards and awards sent or received by each employee.

You can also choose a timeframe: Last 30 days, this quarter, last year, last 90 days.

For employees who haven’t yet sent or received recognition, the Tile will display a prompt to send some.

The Tile shows the total amount available in the employee’s recognition balance (i.e. monetary awards they have received and not yet spent).

The Tile shows the total amount available in the Instant Award pots the employee is owner of, so they’re aware of how much they have left to send monetary recognition.

For employees who are not owners of an Instant Award pot, the Tile will display a message explaining they don’t have a balance to send.
