The Simple and Mixed Content tile options are the bread-and-butter building blocks in any SmartHub®. Each one is described below, to help understand what they all do and how to use them.
Simple Tiles
Text
Simple and perfunctory, the text tile allows for text-only content and can be selected in all standard tile sizes. Use the text editor to customize the title, copy text and call-to-action button.
Image
The image-only tile is a great way to add some color to the page, create a badge or make a message stand out. The image tile can be used in all available tile sizes and has a quick and easy uploader for images up to 5MB.
Video
This tile allows the client to add or embed a video onto their platform. Upload a video or use a video link from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or Daily Motion to embed it. This tile is available in the square and rectangle tile sizes, except for the 1x1 (420 x 420px) size because it's just too small to have any effect as a video!
Mixed Content Tiles
Image & Text
This tile is a combination of image and text. The Flip Tile Layout option on this tile flips the image of the tile on the other side if the tile is 2x1. If you increase the size of the tile to 2x2 or 1x2, the image will move on top. This tile is available in all standard tile sizes except for 1x1.
Icon & Text
This tile allows you to combine text with a relevant icon to add impact or clarity to the message. Icons can be selected and customized to the employer brand's or the engagement program's main color from within the SmartHub® builder; or, if required, a new icon can be requested from us here at Reward Gateway. This tile is available in all standard tile size options.
Video & Text
This tile combines text with video and can be used for all tile sizes except for the vertical and 1x1 tile size options.
Background Image
This tile allows you to add text on top of an image. For example, to upload a beautiful landscape image and on top of it to write something in relation to Wellness. It's available in all standard tile sizes.
