Introduction
There are cases where it may be better to manage permissions for an individual survey rather than giving someone access to all surveys or results on a programme. This article explains how to share editing rights and/or viewing permissions to the results of a specific survey.
This option allows you to share only certain surveys with someone else in your company, without the need to grant access to all surveys across your programme. This guide is intended for Client Admins.
Prerequisites
In order to grant permissions (as described in this article) you will need the Employee Surveys Administrator role.
Note: For information on the overall roles and permissions for Employee Surveys, see; Permissions Needed for Creating Surveys and Viewing Survey Results.
Sharing Results for a Specific (or single) Survey
In order to manage permissions on a particular survey:
> Log into Reward Manager
> Navigate to Smart Products > Employee Surveys
On this listing page of surveys
> Locate the survey you wish to share the results of
> On the survey, click the three dots next to the survey you want to share, then select Edit Permissions:
> In the Edit Survey Permissions window, add people to share with, and the level of access rights you want to give:
The Give rights to field options will grant permissions as follows:
Edit: Allows editing of that survey's settings, questions, schedules, and configurations for shared surveys (without report viewing privileges unless explicitly granted).
See Results: Allows viewing of full results/response rates (without editing privileges).
Edit and See Results: Gives both of the above Edit and See Results permissions.
> After you have added the appropriate permissions, click the Share button.
Success! The permissions have successfully shared.
Alert for New Permissions
Once shared, the person you have given permissions to will receive an alert on the platform (along with an email) to let them know about their new permissions:
The alert will include a link to navigate directly to the survey:
