Description
This article describes how to fix missing demographic data via the R1 Report (Registered Users Report). This would appear in Reward Manager, under Members > Update Membership List, after uploading the member data.
'Missing Demographic Data' Issue - Fixing
You will see a red banner saying “Missing Demographic Data” under any registration questions where there are new, unknown or unrecognized answers & titles.
There will be a link saying; “Fix Missing Demographic Data for <registration question name>”
If you select it, you will be taken to a page for manual Membership File upload.
Note: In order for this feature to become available, the Allow new answers feature needs to be enabled and Client Support can action this.
1. Review the list and confirm which values are new and which ones are a new version of existing values
2. For brand new values click the Add as New Category button
3. For existing but updated values, please see How to Merge Categories In the R1 Report
4. For incorrectly entered values that already exist in the system, find the old value in the search bar next to the new value, select the old value from the drop-down, then click on Assign to Category - that way you keep the original value, and the incorrectly entered value will not be registered in the system for user accounts.
