Dynamic Translations in Blogs
Employees want to read blog content in their preferred language. Therefore we have added the ability for blog posts to be translated into multiple languages with the click of a button.
How does it work?
When a blog post is loaded, the user has the option to set a language of their choice to translate it to.
The language that is displayed by default, as seen in brackets will be automatically selected based on the preferred language that you have set in your browser.
For example, if your browser language is set to German, when you navigate to a blog post, the Set Language option will automatically be set to German.
Alternatively, you can select from one of the supported languages by clicking the Set language button.
This will present you with a pop up, as shown below:
The list of all the supported languages can be found here, provided by Amazon AWS: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/translate/latest/dg/what-is-languages.html
Selecting a language from the list will then close the pop up and automatically change the blog post content, and the title into the chosen language:
Where does the feature work?
This is available on blog posts on the desktop, and within the Connect+ app.
