Introduction
This article explains how an employee can set their preferred language when accessing their platform.
How this works will depend on whether or not the 'Preferred Language' has been set up by the employer or HR admin already.
For clients and admins, see: How to Set Up a Preferred Language in Reward Manager / Admin Console
If 'Preferred Language' Has Not Been Set Up
If no 'Preferred Language' has been enabled on the programme, the default browser language of the specific member will be taken and used as the preferred language.
i.e. if Chrome is your default browser, and the language is set to French, the platform will also display in French.
Note that this is no longer English as default. It changes per employee and their personal browser settings.
If a user changes the language on their browser this will change the platform language.
If 'Preferred Language' Has Been Set Up
When Logged-in to the Platform
If multiple languages are enabled, there will be a 'Language' icon on the top right of your navigation bar, on your platform:
Select the language icon, and then you will be presented with the languages to choose from:
Select the one you wish to use.
On the Login Pages
Before signing in to the platform (including if you have not yet activated your account) you can still select your preferred language.
On the Login Landing Page, there is a small language selector (dropdown option), as shown on the screen below:

Static Fields
Buttons such as the Log in with your email button, or other static elements on the page (e.g. 'privacy policy', etc. across the bottom page) are automatically translated.
These are static fields.
Non-Static Fields
Any fields on the login page which are not static are not translated automatically.
For example this text:
Certain non-static fields can be set up during implementation (for a new program) or by your Client Success Manager (for existing programs).
Please contact your Client Success Manager if you would like to discuss translation of other fields.
