Introduction
There are many Reward Manager (or Admin Portal) roles available, each designed to let you perform specific tasks or gain certain permissions on the platform.
Some roles are exclusive to Reward Gateway | EdenRed, so they can't be assigned to our clients. However, there are plenty of roles that enable our clients to manage their Programs effectively.

Why Did We Change This Article?
This approach has been done for a few reasons:
- To avoid multiple sources of the same information. Info becomes out of sync when the same role is mentioned in a lot of different articles (which was the case) and then updated in one place but not the other.
- To consolidate all information, for each role, into one place. This involved taking pieces of information about each role out of several different articles which had different data points. It was then collated into one article per role instead of having it spread over several places.
- To improve search success. Articles per role means that you can search for the specific action or permission you need using the Help Center search bar, and you should get a specific answer, not a long list to have to scroll through!
- Less time to find the information you need. Improved search success and less scrolling through list means this should
- To improve readability. Let's face it, the tables were hard to make sense of, for more complex roles. The individual articles are much more easy on the eye.
