Manager Alerts for Reward & Recognition - FAQs - What Does a Client Need to Do to Activate Manager Alerts Besides Uploading an Employee Data File With the Line Manager Column?

As long as they are providing us with the correct Line Manager data, the following alerts will be enabled automatically, with no further configuration:

• Alert when a direct report receives an eCard, InstantAward, or approved award nomination. The alert will link to the recognition story, so managers can see it and add a comment if they wish to extend the celebrations!
• Weekly reminder to send recognition, sent every Friday to managers who have not sent recognition through the engagement platform in the previous week

Please note Managers will only be alerted about recognition received by their direct reports when the recognition is not sent privately and is shared on the Social Wall. See the following article for more information.
