Connect+ - Member Activation via Connect+

Introduction

This article covers the steps for Member Activation in the Connect+ app. 

Members who receive welcome emails from their employer will already have been registered on the platform by their HR admins. If the member is already registered, they then can go through Member Activation via the Connect+ App by following the steps in this article.

Member Activation - Process Steps

The member will receive a welcome email from their HR scheme, asking them to activate their account. They should then follow these steps to activate their account.

1. From the welcome email, click the Activate your account button:

At this point, if the member does already has the Connect+ Single App installed, the app will launch (go to step 5).

For members who don't have the app installed yet, the below screen will appear. 

2. Click the Get the App & login button:

The Apple AppStore or Google Play Store will open.

3. Download and install the app:

4. Open the app and the Connect+ splash screen will appear:

5. Click the Register button:

The next screen will appear, where you need to enter your details:

6. Enter the details: 

 > First Name  

 > Last Name

 > Email Address (this will be pre-populated, but it can be edited)

 > Gender

 > Postcode

7. Once entered, click the Update button:

8. Create a strong Password and Confirm Password > then click the Confirm button:

Note: At this point it might be necessary to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). This is dependent on whether MFA is a requirement for your programme.

In the next screen you will be prompted to set a PIN.

9. Enter a six-digit PIN number:

10. Retype the same PIN to confirm it:

11. On the next screen, confirm or manage preferences using the Manage Preferences button, or Accept All if you prefer:

You should now be taken into your scheme, and see the Feed:

12. To use the app, it is necessary to accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking the Accept button:

That's it! Activation complete.
