Introduction
Reward Gateway’s SmartTech™ is an employee benefit that allows employees to buy white goods and consumer technology products instantly and affordably, with free financing from their employer. SmartTech™ enables users to spread the cost of their technology or white goods purchase over 12 to 48 months, with 0% interest. Payments are deducted directly from their net salary.
Employees can choose from over 5,000 products via Currys – from laptops, TVs and cameras to washing machines and cookers – all at the lowest prices on the high street, guaranteed. They can collect their purchase in-store from any Currys or get their items delivered to their door, and all products come with a 12-month warranty as standard, for peace of mind.
Employers can choose to set up a pre-approval process, so that employees can enjoy their purchases straight away. With pre-approval, the system processes applications automatically, based on eligibility data supplied before opening a window. Alternatively, if more control is needed over the process, employers can choose post-approval, which means the client must approve or reject requests manually after each application window.
Clients can even choose how much their employees are allowed to spend, what type of products they can buy and how long the cost can be spread out for. Our Client Support Managers can implement these specifications, or the client can select their preferences through Reward Gateway's purpose-built payroll benefits management system, SmartPay™.
With SmartPay™, clients can manage all Reward Gateway salary sacrifice and payroll benefits in one place, and download the reports needed to process salary deductions.
