How many counselling sessions are included in EAP Essential and EAP Complete?
With EAP Essential and EAP Complete, employees are entitled to 6 counselling sessions per issue per year per Employee. What this means is that Employees can have additional sessions for different types of issues ex:
- 6 counselling sessions per issue per year Employer for Relationships issues
- 6 counselling sessions per issue per year Employer for Dept issues
- 6 counselling sessions per issue per year Employer for Bereavement issues
Does Helpline, EAP Essential or EAP Complete cover partners or dependants?
Yes, EAP offers coverage for dependants within HMRC guidelines (16-24 & in full-time education) and partners.
However, face-to-face counselling offered on EAP Complete does not cover dependants within HMRC guidelines (16-24 & in full-time education) and partners.
Can individuals under 16 use the services?
No, the service can only be used by individuals over the age of 16.
Note: For family member usage, a partner, spouse or dependant aged between 16-24, living at home and in full-time education, can access the helpline and also telephone/online counselling (if applicable).
