Introduction
This article will tell you how to create an Award in AwardNominator.
Prerequisites
- The artwork for your award (a horizontal image measuring 3300 x 2100 pixels)
- The name of your award
- The value of your award (enter 0 if it’s non-monetary)
First, navigate to the Configure Awards Type page and select Create an Award
After selecting Create an Award, this will take you to the Create Nominations page
You will need to fill in several fields before your award is created.
- Insert the image for your award. (It must be 3300 x 2100 pixels.)
- Enter the Description of your award.
- Enter the Award Name.
- Enter the Value of the award. (The value is equal to the amount of currency for that award. For example, if you put 20 in the United Kingdom field, you are giving the beneficiary a £20 voucher. (If you do not want to send a monetary award, please put 0 in the respective field.)
At the bottom of the form, there are a few options for you to choose from before clicking Save. A brief description of each of the options is included below.
Select the Number of Approval Levels
- This is on how many levels the nomination should pass to get approved. For example, you might have up to five levels and let’s say that it is configured to have two levels per nomination. The first level approver can be the direct manager of the nominator and if he/she approves, the second might be a group of people - the HR team to approve, then the award is paid out.
Automatically Credit Accounts When Nominations of This Award Type Are Approved
- This means that when you finished finalizing your award, it will automatically credit the recipients account with the monetary value you assigned to them.
Display Award Type on the Front-end Site
- This allows other people in the company to view the award. It is essentially sending it publicly rather than privately.
Print Certificate
- Choosing this option will generate a certificate that can be sent to the recipient.
