Actions You Can Perform With Content Tags
There are three main actions you can perform with content tags: edit, delete, and merge. This article will guide you through the steps for each action. All three actions begin by navigating to the following location: Knowledge Admin > Arrange Content > Manage content tags.
Once there, you will see the page shown below.
Editing Content Tags
1. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the content tag you want to modify, then click Edit.
2. To see all the articles and posts currently using the tag you're about to edit, click View tagged content.
3. In the Name field, type the new name you want to give to the content tag, then click Save.
All articles and posts associated with that tag will automatically reflect the updated tag name.
Deleting Content Tags
1. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the content tag you want to modify, then click Delete.
2. Review the warning message, then click Delete content tag.
The content tag will be removed from all articles and posts where it was previously applied.
Merging Content Tags
1. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the content tag you want to modify, then click Merge.
2. In Merge content tag, select the content tag into which you want to merge the tag and click Merge content tag.
The content tag has been merged. The original content tag is deleted, and any content linked to it is now associated with the new merged tag.
