Introduction
If you’ve connected your Fitbit to the Engage app, learn how to sync steps, distance, and active minutes. We’ll also show you how to make sure you’ve got data available to sync. This information is useful to clients and members.
The Syncing Process
To sync to Engage, you first need to open your Google Health (Fitbit) app and pull down on the screen to refresh. This will pull your most recent activity data into Fitbit’s cloud server, which is where Engage gets your steps.
Once you’ve refreshed the Google Health (Fitbit) app, open the You tab in the Engage app and wait to see a Last synced: message to confirm that you’ve synced.
We recommend syncing by refreshing your Fitbit totals and then opening the Engage at least once a day during your challenge. All challenges have a 72-hour grace period after the challenge ends to give you extra time to sync your final steps, so make sure you sync before the grace period is up.
