Goals and Challenges - How To Respond to In-app Challenge Invites

Introduction

This article offers information about how to respond to in-app challenge invites. This information is useful to clients and members who want to join a challenge created by their organization.

Types of Challenge Invites

You can receive two types of in-app challenge invites:

1. Invites sent from your organization to challenges created by your account admins
2. Invites sent from other users in your organization to user-created challenges

Both of these types of invites will appear in your Engage app above the Activity section. 

How To Respond to a Challenge Invite

1. If you have a pending challenge invite, you'll see a notification from your dashboard. Tap the notification to view your invite.
2. Tap the green View or Decline button on the next screen.
3. View details about the challenge and a list of participants who’ve already joined.
4. To respond, tap Join challenge at the bottom of your screen.
5. After joining the challenge, you'll receive a success message to confirm you've joined the challenge and return you to your dashboard.

The invite will no longer appear in your dashboard after you've responded. If you joined the challenge, it will now appear under the Challenges section of your challenge dashboard.
