Engage - How To Set Up and Manage Auto Top-Ups (UK only)

Introduction

This article shows how to set up and manage auto top-ups using the Engage App. 

Auto top-ups are only available to UK members, wishing to set up a regular amount to top up their Reloadable Vouchers for grocery.

Overview

If you frequently shop at the same retailer (like your weekly grocery) you can set up an automatic Auto Top-Up. This schedules regular payments to add value to your voucher automatically based on your preferred day of the week / month. This article shows how to set up Auto To-Up and manage it from your account.  

Note: This feature is currently only available for some reloadable products in the United Kingdom.

How to Set Up an Auto Top-Up

To set up an auto top-up:

1. Head to your Wallet or tap My Auto Top-Ups from your Account profile.
2. Select the active reloadable voucher you want to automate
3. Tap Set Auto Top-Up
4. Choose Your Schedule:
   • Weekly: Select your preferred day of the week
   • Monthly: Choose a specific date of the month (e.g., the 10th)
5. Enter Amount: Input the recurring value you'd like to load (Minimum amount £1.00)
6. Select Payment Method: Choose your saved payment card. (Note: You must make at least one initial manual purchase and securely save your card payments details to the system before setting up automation)
7. Tap Set Auto Top-Up. Your summary will display your next scheduled billing date

Managing, Pausing, or Updating Your Payment Schedule

To change your recurring payment:

1. Go to your Account tab and select My Auto Top-Ups
2. Tap the retailer icon to open the Manage Auto Top-Up screen
3. From here, you can update your recurring amount, change frequencies, or change your payment day
4. To take a temporary break, tap Pause. You can toggle this back to Restart at any time
5. To cancel the schedule completely, tap the Trash Can icon in the top right corner
